Description:
Come out to our beautiful almost 6-acre property and meet the animals. You will start your tour on our brand-new Wildlife Encounter Center where you will meet, pet, and handle some of the animals at SWC. Learn all about different animal facts, each animals’ individual story, and wildlife conservation. After your encounter you will head to the tortoise yard and feed our array of tortoise species. Then head to the back of the property where you will meet our bantam chickens and Jack the Geoffroy’s cat. During the last 10-15 minutes of the encounter, you will walk the lovely nature trail where you will see native Florida flowers, birds, insects, plants, fungi, and more. Children will receive a scavenger hunt/coloring sheet to walk the trail with and have something fun to color on the drive back into town. Enjoy some outside time in beautiful Northwest Florida and leave with a better sense of animals and the amazing planet we habitat.
