V.I.P. Sunset Tour

Behind-the-scenes tour

Tour length: Around 1.5 hours long


Tour times: 1 hour before the sun sets (we can book a different time upon request)


Price: $65 per person.


Description:

Your tour will start about 1 hour before the sun sets. This is a fun behind-the-scenes tour where you will meet mammals and parrots on the encounter center, take a tour of the reptile room, feed the goats, help with animal training sessions, tong feed the foxes, pet a porcupine, and more. After your animal tour, we will get a free complimentary drink (beer, wine, or a soft drink) and receive a free SWC etched 12-oz pint glass or wine glass for you to keep as a souvenir. Enjoy your drink while walking around and watching the animals, sitting by the fire pit, hanging out with the parrots, swinging under the oak tree, or by the artisan well listening to the calming sounds of nature all while the sun sets. We need at least 48 hours in advance to book this encounter. Contact us below to book today.

Yes. In a safe, secure environment, you will get to pet and hold some of the animals at the rescue.

 Defiantly! You can take as many photos as you’d like, just don’t forget to tag us in your social media posts.

 No. There are lots of gas stations and businesses on 29 as you come up to the sanctuary. Please make arrangements ahead of time as the employee bathroom is for emergencies only.

  Please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes and weather appropriate clothes (dress for the cold, heat, and/or rain).

 Depends. We give tours during the rain or shine and do not cancel or reschedule if there is rain. 

However, we do cancel/reschedule for extreme weather such as lighting and hurricanes. We will contact you for updates if your tour might be cancelled.
