Welcome to our first online Animal Training Workshop. If you are interested in animal training, dog training, or working with exotic animals, this is the workshop for you. This two-hour workshop will be on Saturday, April 5th from 11am-1pm CT. We will go over training terminology, there will be training demos, a discussion about working with and training exotic animals, and a Q&A session.

Learn more about this amazing and creative field with only a $30 fee to enter the workshop. Email us for payment information and we will send the invitation link.

Celebrate Nocturnal Nights with SWC for another fun
community event. Enjoy a fun night out with the family
and see nocturnal animals, walk through the vendors,
and eat dinner from a food truck. Enjoy fun activities,
meet cool animals, and walk the nature trail to look for
bats! Fun lights and neon lights will be all around the
property, you don't want to miss this fun and exciting
community event.

Zookeeper Kids Summer Camp will be filled with fun, animals, and education. With multiple days, you can sign your child up for 1, 2, or all 3 days! You will even get a discount if you do all three.

Day 1: Zookeeper for a day

Day 2: Animal Careers

Learn about what it takes to be a zookeeper and care for the animals at the rescue. Cuddle and handle animals well we talk about animal-related careers. We will cover careers including zookeeping, veterinarian, conservation/fieldwork, marine biology, dog/animal trainer, groomer, breeder, farmer, and more! We talk about these, what they might entail, and higher education. 

PLEASE NOTE: animal career camp will be reserved for teens who are interested in an animal career only.
