Here at Sunset Wildlife Connection we believe that education is the key to conservation. People want to help save things they care about. Teaching kids and adults about animals and how they can help to save them in the wild is one of our passions.
With our Education Connection Encounters, we bring the zoo to your classroom, camps, boy and girl scouts, churchs, libraries, or where ever we can teach about animal education and wildlife conservation. For 1 hour (or more), we bring live animals to your learners where we talk about animal facts, science, zoology, and nature. Teachers and educators are able to choose which animals they would like for their encounter and can even request a science or nature topic (view topics below) for our wildlife specialists to talk about. At the end of our presentation, your learners will get a hands-on experience with our Wildlife Touchtable that includes “bio-facts” (display of feathers, eggs, snake sheds, etc.) for students to view, touch, and handle. Learners will even get to touch and pet some of the animals as well! We perform presentations for K through 12th grade and each lesson is tailored to the needs of your classroom.
It is a 1 hour minimum for in-person encounters near the Pensacola area. We can provide virtual encounters as well. Prices vary based on the number of animals, distance, and length of encounter/presentation. Please contact us today for a quote.
