WHat is the Wildlife Touchtable?!

Our wildlife touchtable is an interactive experience where our guests get to explore, touch, and ask questions about the animals and animal related items we call "bio facts".

This is a great and safe way for children to learn more about zoo animals and entertain them at the same time.

Check out some of the displays below

Feather Display

This display is a colorful bunch of different bird feathers. See and hold feathers from parrots, emus, cockatoos, and more. Feel the soft down feathers or the tip of a quill that used to be used for writing.

Egg display

Hold an ostrich egg (right), rhea egg (middle), or penguin egg (left). Pick up each egg and feel how heavy or light each one is. Can you guess how many chicken eggs fit into 1 ostrich egg?

Check out this cool video of our Wildlife Touchtable

Explore our Wildlife Touchtable with our wildlife specialists Margaret and Marissa.
