This encounter is a one-on-one experience with just you and/or your kids and one of our wildlife specialists. This is for anyone who would be interested in animals, care taking, and/or a zookeeping career.
You will get a behind-the-scenes experience where you will be a zookeeper. You will help us care for the animals, prepare diets, give out enrichment/toys, and of course, scoop some poop.
You will also get to pet/hold some of the animals during your encounter.
This encounter is available on Tuesdays, Fridays, & Sundays from 9am-12pm (3 hours)
This is for anyone who is 10 years old or older. Ages 10-15 must have a parent present on property during the duration of the program.

$125 per participating person
Yes. In a safe, secure environment, you will get to pet and hold some of the animals at the rescue.
Definitely! You can take as many photos as you’d like, just don’t forget to tag us in your social media posts.
Zookeepers will have access to the employee restroom during the encounter.
Please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes and weather appropriate clothes (dress for the cold, heat, and/or rain).
No. Zookeepers work in any and all weather conditions.
However, we do cancel/reschedule for extreme weather such as lighting and hurricanes. We will contact you for updates if your encounter might be cancelled.
